If you have witnessed a student who is in social, emotional, physical distress, or danger, you have options.
Life-Threatening Emergencies
Call 911 - If possible, have the student's PowerSchool information (address, etc...) ready for the 911 operator. If what you are reporting triggers your "Mandated Reporter" status, you will need to contact CPS. CLICK HERE for the CPS form and contact information.
Non-Life Threatening Situation Needing Immediate Attention
If you heard or witnessed something, that is not life-threatening but is serious enough to warrant immediate attention (like a home visit) call school police at (619) 291-7678.
