Life-Threatening Emergencies 


Non-School Hours

Call 911 - Have the student's PowerSchool information (address, etc...) ready for the 911 operator. If what you are reporting triggers your "Mandated Reporter" status, you will need to contact CPS and notify the Counseling Office.  CLICK HERE for the CPS form and contact information. 

During School Hours

If there is a life-threatening situation happing during school hours:

  • Suicidal ideation or self-harm

    • DO NOT leave the student alone.  An adult should escort the student to the Counseling office.​

  • Call the Emergency Line 3024

  • Use the radio on channel 1 or 3

  • Send a student runner to the office

  • If all else fails, call 911

Situations Requiring Non-Immediate Attention

In these situations, you can contact the counselor directly by CLICKING HERE. Or, you can use the form below. If what you are reporting triggers your "Mandated Reporter" status, you will need to contact CPS. CLICK HERE for the CPS form and contact information.  Make sure the counselor is away from your CPS contact.

 

Your submission will go to the counseling and Wellness Center staff. 
Submission of this form DOES NOT relieve you of your mandated reporter status. If there is a life-threatening emergency call 911.
