Community events you don't want to miss!

We are most excited about bringing back an event I created years ago--what was our biggest event of the year, "Pathway Night." We have not done this since before the pandemic. This event is open to all community members, students, and families in the cluster, and pre-Covid, we had hundreds of stakeholders here supporting our students and checking out our pathways! We hope you can join us in bringing this back as we rename it Community Fest! Please set your calendar for April 26th, 2023.

Students at Chicano Park celebrating Cesar Chavez Service Clubs: CHHS celebrated!

Safety Patrol at SDSU Game:

Last blog, I talked about CHHS partnering with SDPD and Safety Patrol in order to unite not only the students in our cluster but all Safety Patrols Eastern Division oversees. Last night was the game at SDSU, and our 5th graders had an amazing time and were even on the Jumbotron and the news!

BOCCE: Mark your calendars now!

Safety Patrol Partnership in Action Again!

In regards to community events, many of you know I have partnered with the 5th-grade Safety Patrollers not only in Tierrasanta but all of the Eastern Division SDPD SP students. I have been involved in planning events and experiences for them and it seems they are enjoying them. Last month, I hosted them all here for a great basketball game and let them do the halftime show. This month, I contacted SDSU Football Director and asked if he would host all the SP students and parents at the Spring Scrimmage for SDSU at SnapDragon Stadium. It was a long shot as this game is open to the public. They met with me and sure enough, we are on for that game. It is going to be so fun---I'm going as well! and SP's Graduation is in April and will be here at CHHS. This is a great way we as an HS show support for our younger student leaders!

ASB: Lots of events coming up!
