I apologize for the delay in the blog. I was away on district business at the California Association of ASB Activities in order to gain more knowledge, information, and ideas about what more we can do as a school for morale, and I got a lot of really great ideas! This week is Spirit Week, and the fun is beginning as we lead up to the Winter Formal on Saturday! Check it out!
Senior Picture:
The Class of 2024 got together and took their Senior Photo. I managed to sneak a picture on my phone to preview what is to come. It's hard to believe we have less than 90 days until Graduation!
College Tour:
Last weekend, I spent the weekend with about 20 seniors on a college trip to Grand Canyon University. They had a fantastic experience, including attending a D1 basketball game, and got a lot of experience in what it means to be a college student. They did awesome, and it was so fun to spend time with them, as you can see above and below. It was my birthday, and they embarrassed me by screaming the Happy Birthday Song in the airport for all to hear. They made sure the pilot said it as an announcement on the plane. They are so cute, even at 17 and 18!
ROTC:
This past week, ROTC had their Pass and Review, and they did an amazing job! They will also have their Cadet Ball on Saturday! Great job!
LCAP Listening Session:
Saturday School is how you make up work and clear those tardies!

Microsoft Teams:
SDUSD is moving strictly to Microsoft Teams in a month, so there will be no more Zoom. Please have patience while we work through this, and don't be surprised if you have a meeting on Zoom that gets changed. THANK YOU!
Summer School Sign Up:
Summer School is offered to current high school students only if they need to make up credits in core subjects. It begins Wednesday, June 12, 2024, and ends Friday, July 12, 2024. There will be no school on 6/19, 7/4, and 7/5.
OPTION 1: Students may take up to 4 seat time courses in person.
OPTION 2: Students may take up to 2 courses online.
Summer School will be one (5) week session. There will be (4) one-hour periods during the (5) week session. Students who take online courses can complete (2) classes during the session.
Calendar:
Monday: Nothing
Tuesday: SGT Meeting in the AM, where we talk about all things instruction
Wednesday: LCAP Listening Session with our BOE member and Foundation Meeting
Thursday-Friday: nothing
Saturday is BUSY! We have ROTC cadet ball, Winter Formal, and Saturday School.

Booster Clubs are created by each "Class Of" to raise funds to create unforgettable experiences for your students. Items include caps for graduation, prom ticket prices, organizing Grad Night, and having fundraisers to pull this off. They work very hard and need your support.
