Happy Thanksgiving and Week of Return

Happy Thanksgiving, Rattler Nation!

We have had a great SPIRIT Week here at CHHS! Students and staff participated in a variety of dress-ups and spread holiday cheer. P2 grades are posted, and we are looking ahead to Winter Sports! We also have Miles Pike, who is on our Cross Country Team, going to State over the break, and we wish him luck. We are in holiday full swing, and this blog contains the upcoming week of return and everything you need to know. Our offices are closed all next week, so use this blog as a reference. Principal's Coffee is the Friday we return.

Dear Parents: Want to give back to the school in a big FREE way?????

We ask everyone to utilize the parent portal to complete the federal survey. Please click the QR code below to complete the “2023-24 Impact Aid Program Survey Form.” This survey is very helpful for our school to receive federal funding based on those families that live on federal property, including military housing. If you need assistance with your parent portal, please contact Ms. Rosa at rpenamoya@sandi.net. I appreciate your support.

Gifts for the Holidays! CHHS Logo items!

Did you know we have a store where you can buy and design CHHS items? This is an excellent opportunity to give during the holidays.

We also have blankets to buy in time for Christmas!

Use this QR code to order as well.

The Canyon Hills Cross Country Team competed at the CIF San Diego Championships on Saturday, Nov. 11. With over 100 athletes competing in the race, Canyon Hills had two CIF Medalists: Corbin Scott took 19th and Miles Pike took 6th place overall. Miles Pike has Qualified for the CIF State Championships in Fresno and will compete on Saturday, November 25th. Above is LeahMarie Turrubiate

Athletics is a very complex program. It's like running a whole separate school. While I can highlight a few things here, you must check that website daily and contact the proper coaches. This blog highlights sporting events with pictures and celebrations but doesn't get into the operations of athletics. Please bookmark that site so you have it. CHHS has one of the most extensive programs in the county and state.
