Happy Friday, Ratter Nation!
We wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day and thank all the veterans who served and died for our country. There is no school tomorrow or Monday, and then we go full force into the last weeks of school.
We are about the start scheduling students into our Master Schedule. For the last three months, we have been building it so it is ready for students' selection. We need you to look at the course requests and ensure you still agree to what was submitted. We do not do schedule changes for any reason other than an error. We have this process so that changes can be made ahead of time. Please follow the instructions below, and this was also emailed out to your students:
This is your opportunity to review your course request for next year and confirm that it is correct. If you would like to request any changes to your course selection for next year, please complete and submit this form by Wednesday, May 31st.
Log in to PowerSchool.
Go into Class Registration
Review your courses.
Submit a google form to request any changes
***DO NOT EMAIL YOUR COUNSELOR WITH YOUR REQUEST, AS THEY WILL ONLY REVIEW ANSWERS FROM THE GOOGLE FORM

We had a busy weekend last weekend, and the pictures are below. Prom was a huge hit, our ROTC won several awards, and TS Parade was a fun activity we are happy to support. This week we also had Mental Health Awareness Day and celebrated our Leader in Me, students. It was a regular instructional school day, but we celebrated the day with fun activities and knowledge around mental health--they also had their standard classes. Our school mascot survey the student took closed, and our Rattler Mascot is now named Reggie the Rattler!
ASB:
ASB had elections, and the results are as follows:
ASB President - Annalisa Parker
Senior Class President - Luxsa Meksavahn
Junior Class President - Jake Langenderfer
Sophomore Class President - Avalon Schmier
We want to thank our ASB this year and class presidents for making this year so special for our students.
PROM 2024--you heard that right--is at the House of Blue on May 18th next year.
End of the Year Culture and Climate Survey for Parents:
Every year I put out a C and C survey to families so we can improve upon ourselves as a school each year to better serve you. Students also take their own version of this. Your input is valuable and we need to hear from you. I know it's like "another survey...." this is for the betterment of CHHS, and we hope you take the time to take it.
