Canyon Hills Students met with the DEA for Fentanyl Awareness Day.

Our students took their opportunity to meet with the DEA on Fentanyl, and they engaged in a fruitful conversation and field trip learning all about drugs in San Diego and provided their input on solutions:

We are now doing an Athletic Weekly; this is created with the most accurate data we have at the time, and we understand things change at the last minute, so always check MaxPreps as well.

Swim: Emily Hou and Logan Uvegas went to represent the Rattlers at CIF Swim and placed first in their races. I was there, and it was a packed house. Congrats to both.

Softball Senior Night: There wasn't a dry eye in the house!

Baseball Senior Night: Equally Proud!

Volleyball Men: The men did terrifically in their season, and it was so fun to watch them take on the Knights last night in El Cajon!

Badminton: Made it to the semi-finals right here at CHHS. We are so proud of them and their performance.

Club Elevate:

SAY San Diego's Club ELEVATED teamed up with SDUSD SWEAR club, HealthCorps, and San Diego County Office of Education's- Friday Night Live program to host lunchtime activities every Friday in May focused on promoting health and wellness. HealthCorps facilitated a station where students could make fidget rings. At the same time, ELEVATED hosted an activity to share vaping prevention education, empowering teens to make informed choices and protect their health and well-being.  Friday Night Live surprised ELEVATED members who are seniors with a certificate and graduation cords, acknowledging their involvement and leadership within the SDCOE Youth Development Institute and Spring Jam leadership camp.
