Hello Rattler Nation,

The following 32 days will be hectic; please check the calendar regularly to stay up to date and refer back to these blogs as needed, as things may change. It was a great week; we had a lot of stuff going on. Above are all of our seniors who were accepted to San Diego State University (SDSU). We are so proud of all of them (Go Aztecs).

A reminder that our largest school event of the year is our Spring Showcase. A lot is happening on this night, including ceremonies for pathway completers, cords for them (others will come later), performances, and more.

CCAP Parent Night: Community College Courses:

We want to thank the massive turnout for CCAP Night, so you can understand the benefits and consequences of what a CCAP class has to offer. Parents need to be critically aware and take it seriously, as do the students. It was a packed Media Center and went great!

End of the Year Field Trips:

Students who made considerable improvements in their scores over the year were celebrated with a field trip to Knott's Berry Farm. It was nice to see them take control of their learning and be celebrated for it.

Engineering Students (Freshman Year):

Here are some pictures from Cora Trojanoski's freshman IED class. We’re currently working on a totem pole project using various machinery in the classroom.

Here are some things you may want to pay attention to:

Senior Checklist!! This is mandatory.

Watching our Seniors grow into such incredible young adults has been a fantastic experience for all of your counselors, especially Mr. Stewart, who has guided and supported the Class of 2025 through their first three years of high school. Throughout the years, you have consistently demonstrated resilience, growth, and a readiness to take on the challenges that lie ahead.

Before we say our goodbyes, we want to make sure you complete all the pending senior activities and recommendations listed below, so you're fully prepared for your post-secondary plans.

Yearbook:

BUY HERE:

As we reflect on another incredible school year, we would like to thank each student, parent, and staff member for their tireless efforts and unwavering dedication. Both challenges and triumphs have marked this year. Together, we have created a vibrant learning community. We take pride in our work, from academic excellence to outstanding extracurricular activities. Looking forward, we hope everyone will continue to strive for success and support one another. Let's carry the lessons learned this year into the next, fostering a spirit of unity and perseverance. Remember, every one of you plays a vital role in making our school a wonderful place to learn and grow. Thank you for being so committed. We can't wait to see what this year has accomplished. We will start distributing to the public on May 20th, so be sure to buy one soon!

Did you know that Canyon Hills has a Daily Bulletin that is read over the PA every morning? We know most of you reading this aren’t on campus to hear the morning announcements, but we've got your back! All you have to do is go to the CHHS web page and click on “Bulletin” at the top of the page to see today’s and past bulletins. Or you can just CLICK HERE

Athletics is a very complex programit's like running a separate school. While I can highlight a few things here, you must check that website daily and contact the proper coaches. This blog highlights sporting events with pictures and celebrations, but does not delve into the operations of athletics. Please bookmark that site so you can access it later. CHHS has one of the most extensive programs in the county and state.

Beach Volleyball Senior Night:

Did you know we had a Beach Volleyball Team? We do, and they are amazing. Abbey was the only senior on the team this year, and she is lucky enough to play standard volleyball at Washington University in Maryland!

They had a Staff Appreciation Night. Here are some fantastic pictures.

IMIN After and Before School Programs:

I talk a lot about our after--- and before-school programs, and I always hear things like, "I didn't know you had that?" I want to ensure you know that there are many things here for students to do, which helps them feel connected. We also offer experiences for students, including field trips, visits with industry professionals, driver's education, and more. Please take a look at this site and check it out. We are also working on balancing things for the AM because of athletes, etc, since they are away at games and other students have jobs. Below is a picture of only one part of the front page.
