Hello Rattler Nation-
We have been so busy with playoffs because this year, all of our teams are killing it! We also started Spring Sports! If you see Jonn Pisapia at your games, give him a huge thank you because I don't know how this man manages to get to all these games. He is so dedicated to our school that we are even naming the new stadium elevator after him. Ask him what we are calling it! He has earned it.
Here are this week's upcoming games: Our school needs as much love as we can give!

We also have a school play coming up, and we encourage everyone to buy tickets and come out to support. Our Olympics have been going strong, and we have also had big turnouts for our playoff games and other events. It's getting really cold as our SD Winter looks like it is starting to arrive. Did you know Foundation sells CHHS blankets for an amazing price! Check it out and get one for your student!

ASB:

Class Merchandise Sales Begin
Starting Tuesday, class merchandise will be on sale in front of the Media Center. Freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior class items will be available for purchase over the next two weeks. This is a great opportunity for students to show their class pride and gear up for upcoming events. We look forward to seeing students representing their class colors and spirit across campus.

Few Reminders:
Semester 1 absences roll over in Semester 2.

HOW IT WORKS: There is a link with a date (see below). The link opens on WEDNESDAY before Saturday. It begins on that day because we need to staff it appropriately. Years ago, we opened it on Mondays, and many students signed up, but they never showed up. Then the staff showed up, and we had to send them home.
If you do not maintain proper attendance, you will start losing privileges if your attendance is not recorded correctly and cleared. Sign up below to view the following dates and mark your calendar.

Miramar College & CCAP Parent Information and Enrollment Events
We are excited to share important opportunities for our students and families interested in earning college credit and planning for life after high school.
Enrollment Support for Class of 2026 Seniors Miramar College representatives will be on campus to assist graduating seniors who plan to attend San Diego Community College District schools (Miramar, Mesa, or City College) next year. These Enrollment 101 workshops will provide hands-on support with the college application, financial aid (FAFSA or Dream Act), San Diego Promise, and academic planning. Students will also receive guidance on setting up their college portal and mapping their first semester with a counselor. These workshops are designed to ensure students are fully prepared for a smooth transition to college.
Spring 2026 CCAP Family Night – Mandatory for Participating Families.
2026 CCAP Family Night on Tuesday, March 3rd, from 5:30–6:30 PM in the CHHS Media Center.
During the presentation, we will review:
CCAP expectations and student responsibilities
The benefits of earning college credit in high school
Important next steps in the enrollment process
College and high school representatives will be available to answer questions, and we will raffle off free Miramar merch to attendees.
This meeting is required for first-time CCAP students and strongly encouraged for all students and families planning to enroll next year.
Please RSVP here: tinyurl.com/SPRINGCCAPRSVP26
This event will cover program expectations, student responsibilities, enrollment steps, and the many benefits of participating in CCAP. College and high school representatives will be present to answer questions and guide families through the process.
We strongly encourage families to take advantage of these valuable opportunities to support their students’ college and career readiness.

Athletic: ALL ATHLETIC INFORMATION- chrattlers.com
Athletics is a very complex program. It's like running a separate school altogether. While I can highlight a few things here, you must check that website daily and contact the proper coaches. This blog highlights sporting events with pictures and celebrations, but doesn't get into the operations of athletics. CHHS has one of the most extensive programs in the county and state.
Tryouts:
The AW Weekly: This lets you know about all the home games happening around campus, so your students can get involved, whether cheering on their friends or participating directly. Your family can also come out and support you.

See you next week!
