Serra Shines!

How many rubber bands does it take to make a watermelon burst?
Ms. Litt's Science class testing their hypotheses about force!

Hello Q-Nation!

Week two was another great start to the school year! Students came back refreshed from the break and holiday and we have seen and felt an amazing energy within not only the students but also the staff. In addition, SHS Administration attended the Football game vs. Santana and while we lost that game, the Dawg Pound was more energetic than ever in their beach attire for spirit day!

Tonight, be sure to attend the game this week as Victor's Famous Teriyaki Bowls will be served and we play Del Norte looking to get a win. Game time is 6:30 PM and the theme for the Dawg Pound is USA.

Lastly, please make sure you read the entire blog every week; especially sections such as Counseling and Instruction as these are the most important so that you the public can hold us accountable and in addition, not miss dates and timelines. You can always access Counseling on our webpage and we revamped that page to provide as much information as possible. You and your student can also request to see your child's counselor from this page. This prevents students from hanging around and waiting as they should be in class. You can check out the page here: https://serrahighschool.wixsite.com/wellness/counseling.
