Hello Rattler Nation,

We are gearing up for the last month of school. These are very long days, hours, and excitement for students. We have many major events between now and Graduation. Above, ROTC held their Change of Command, thanking our student leaders for their mentorship and modeling the behaviors we want to see not only in ROTC but throughout the school as a whole.

Powderpuff is tonight!

This year's PowderPuff Football Game is TONIGHT. It is going to be an exciting game between the Junior and Senior girls at 5 p.m. on the field. Tickets are only $5, and all the proceeds go to the Class of 2025’s Senior Prom.

Middle School Wrestling: All-schools attendance.

I got to watch the Middle School Wrestling Tournament this morning, and they were terrific and all decked out in their Rattler gear!

Superintendent!

Dr. Fabiola Bagula paid a visit to our school and was impressed by the leadership and advocacy work our students are undertaking. They got to ask her questions when she spoke, and were about to see her not only as the Superintendent but also hear a story that mimicked their own. It was very inspiring. I was blown away by the questions our students asked.

Students Running for Board of Education have Town Hall at CHHS:

Potential Candidates for the students who are running for the Board of Education held a Town Hall for the communities to get to know them better and respond to various questions from the moderator. I was there, and they asked some tough questions!

BDT won the San Diego Unified School District Eastern League, they are the Champions!

Moller's Art Class:

We have another huge accomplishment here: We submitted art work for the HONORS art show which is to be judged by a panel of three. We are so excited and check out what made it!

Thank you again to all the parents who attended the CCAP Parent Night, where they all got the big scoop on what this looks like for their child next year. Many parents asked for the presentation and here it is:

Senior Checklist!! This is mandatory.

Watching our Seniors grow into such incredible young adults has been a fantastic experience for all of your counselors, especially Mr. Stewart, who has guided and supported the Class of 2025 through their first three years of high school. Throughout the years, you have consistently demonstrated resilience, growth, and a readiness to take on the challenges that lie ahead.

Before we say our goodbyes, we want to make sure you complete all the pending senior activities and recommendations listed below, so you're fully prepared for your post-secondary plans.

IMIN After and Before School Programs:

I often discuss our after-school and before-school programs, and I always hear comments like, "I didn't know you had that?" I want to ensure you know that there are many things here for students to do, which helps them feel connected. We also offer experiences for students, including field trips, visits with industry professionals, driver's education, and more. Please take a look at this site and review it. We are also working on balancing things for the AM because of athletes, etc, since they are away at games and other students have jobs. Below is a picture of only one part of the front page.
