COVID Testing:

To make Covid-19 testing more accessible to students, Covid-19 testing will now be available from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm every Wednesday. This new time takes effect on Wednesday 5/26/2021. Testing will go through June 16th. After that we will let you know the schedule. Stay tuned.

Medications:

If your child has medication at school and you would like to pick it up please stop by the main office. If your child is returning next year you can leave the medications on site if you would like.

If your child will need medications or specialized health care procedures for the 2021-2022 school year please email me at amartin2@sandi.net and I can send you the required forms. Feel free to drop off medical orders, medical supplies, or medication during summer school as I will be on site to receive and review them. Medical orders are good for one calendar year.

Really Need Your Help!

School Choice for Next Year: On site or Virtual: PLEASE FILL OUT!!!!

Starting on August 30, 2021, we are proud to continue in-person learning for all students, including five full days per week of on-campus instruction that follows established bell schedules, transportation routes, in-person meals, and extended-day programs. All SDUSD schools will continue to monitor and follow health and safety guidelines. While in-person, full-time instruction is the primary and recommended mode of learning for all students next year, the district is offering a virtual academy for K-12 students who choose to remain online.

Please take a few minutes to complete the enrollment form below with your information and make a selection for Fall 2021-2022. Families that do not respond to this enrollment form by June 7 will be automatically enrolled for in- person learning.

Our San Diego Unified Virtual Academy will offer a robust online magnet school available for students K-12. This Virtual Academy will provide rigorous daily instruction substantially equivalent to onsite instruction, which includes grade-level standards-based lessons and District and State assessments. Teacher directed instruction, at our District Virtual Academy, will require students to be highly engaged and responsible for completing all class assignments. The only option for comprehensive online instruction will be offered centrally through the Virtual Academy rather than at neighborhood schools. Students may have on-campus opportunities to receive academic support, labs or hands-on activities. High school students will have opportunities to participate in athletics.

The Virtual Academy will provide instruction for all participating students, including students receiving special education services and multilingual learners. The Virtual Academy will provide virtual IEP services, as outlined in student’s IEPs.

The Virtual Academy will not offer the following programs: Early Learning, including Transitional Kindergarten (TK), Dual Language, International Baccalaureate (IB), and/or STEAM/VAPA Magnet.
