Hello Rattler Nation---

We are in the home stretch, and it is flying by. Graduation is right around the corner, and all the students are joyful and having fun. Senior Parents---please read the entire Senior Section below. If you have an athlete, the physical date has changed! It's June 9th, not June 6th.

Let's look at highlights from this week:

Prom:

The prom was at the House of Blues, a fantastic event space. The students had a wonderful time. It's such a special night for them and us as we watch them have one of the best traditional high school experiences.

TTown Parade:

We had the TTown Parade Saturday, where the community celebrated how amazing TTown is. It is always such a fantastic event and an honor to be allowed to show off all the amazing things CHHS has to offer. Seeing all the little kids in their varying groups was also so cute. I love how we can support them by having it start at CHHS.

VAPA Spotlight Awards:

CHHS Vapa Wins again! Our program is exploding with accolades in our VAPA department. We won four awards at the event, and celebrating students, parents, and staff is always excellent.

Mr. Villanueva's Students and Staff win a huge award:

Canyon Hills HS Multimedia Production Team was nominated and then selected as the 2025 awardee of the "CFF DREAMS Team Award" (Design, Research, Engineering, Art, Math & Science). Congratulations! They worked hard this year and were celebrated at SeaWorld.

SENIOR SECTION!!!!!!!

Parents, please be aware of next week. There are a lot of requirements and information to keep track of!

Senior Survey:

Senior Checklist!! This is mandatory.

Watching our Seniors grow into such incredible young adults has been a fantastic experience for all of your counselors, especially Mr. Stewart, who has guided and supported the Class of 2025 through their first three years of high school. Throughout the years, you have consistently demonstrated resilience, growth, and a readiness to take on the challenges that lie ahead.

Before we say our goodbyes, we want to ensure that you complete all the pending senior activities and recommendations listed below so you're fully prepared for your post-secondary plans.

Graduation: everything you need to know!

Athletics:

Athletics is a very complex programit's like running a separate school. While I can highlight a few things here, you must check that website daily and contact the proper coaches. This blog highlights sporting events with pictures and celebrations, but does not delve into athletic operations. Please bookmark that site so you can access it later. CHHS has one of the most extensive programs in the county and state.

Athleticclearance.com will open June 9, 2025.   Physicals must be completed on or after June 9, 2025.     There are two upcoming opportunities to get a physical.
