Hello Rattler Nation-
Look Above! Those are baby Ratter Cheerleaders that our squad is working with. How amazing is that! We can't wait to have them here. We had a great week in so many ways, minus the lockdown (sad face). ALL of you were so amazing, and so were your students. I want to reiterate that I will do anything possible to protect your students. I appreciate the community's support in that. I know your students may have been texting you. I don't blame them. I want you to know that if I had to call a lockdown every day this week, if that caller called again, I would. We take the threats very seriously. There is not one that will be dismissed. I am so lucky to work with you and your students.
There are some BIG Events tomorrow for our students! Check it out!

Few Reminders:
Semester 1 absences roll over in Semester 2.
Saturday School is not every Saturday. You have been receiving letters via email, and students have been sent additional reminders, with more to follow. If you are a senior, we also had a Senior Contract that was reviewed in class and signed by you.
Please make sure you sign up so you know your child is eligible not only for school activities but also for PROM!

HOW IT WORKS: There is a link with a date (see below). The link opens on WEDNESDAY before Saturday. It begins on that day because we need to staff it appropriately. Years ago, we opened it on Mondays, and many students signed up, but they never showed up. Then the staff showed up, and we had to send them home.
If you do not maintain proper attendance, you will start losing privileges if your attendance is not recorded correctly and cleared. Sign up below to view the following dates and mark your calendar.

SCHOLARSHIPS!!!

Athletic: ALL ATHLETIC INFORMATION- chrattlers.com
Athletics is a very complex program. It's like running a separate school altogether. While I can highlight a few things here, you must check that website daily and contact the proper coaches. This blog highlights sporting events with pictures and celebrations, but doesn't get into the operations of athletics. CHHS has one of the most extensive programs in the county and state.

The AW Weekly: This lets you know about all the home games happening around campus, so your students can get involved, whether cheering on their friends or participating directly. Your family can also come out and support you.
