Hello Q-Nation!
This week went by quickly! It's Friday and tonight we play our rivals Patrick Henry High School at PHHS at 6:30 PM. The theme for the Dawg Pound is White Out. This week, our awesome senior class had their class picture taken--last picture all together that will go in the yearbook. We do have one reminder for you: We have 300 Federal Survey Cards still out unsigned and we need them back! Please hand them in to Ms. Ward in the office as soon as possible. We hope you all enjoyed a safe Halloween last night.
Last day to order AP Tests is TOMORROW and there are no extensions!
NOTE: SATURDAY SCHOOL TOMORROW, 11/2, from 8-12; you must be on time to room 211B. Reminders went out and phone call homes. See you there.
Thank you to those that stepped up to be on our "School Watch" team! We can always use more! Email Mr. Willis at nwillis@sandi.net.
Throughout the whole month of November, ASB and ROTC will be working together on a canned food drive. Every class will be having a box for students to donate canned food for their first period class and the class that collects the most cans will win a donut party sponsored by ASB! So start looking through your cabinets for cans and bring them over to Serra!
Here are some pictures from Halloween!
Also Serra students give back in a spooky way! Volunteers from Serra Boys Soccer, Serra Football and the Serra Spikeball Club participated in "Trunk or Treat," a free community event put on by Newbreak Church last Saturday. With over 4,000 people in attendance, our volunteers worked hard facilitating games for the kids and passing out candy.
Did you know we have SHS gear! Check it out! Proceeds go to our Serra Foundation....please go to http://serrafoundation.org/ to order.
