Hello Rattler Nation, Happy Memorial Day!
We want to thank all those veterans who have served and those who are currently serving our country. Every single man on my father's side served this country all the way back to their first immigration through Ellis Island. My dad alone served 37 years! We had a very busy week celebrating the end of the year and making final memories with our Class of 2026.
Senior Staff Basketball Game!
The photo above is from our Staff vs Senior Basketball Game, and it was quite a fight. It was also a packed house! We want to thank one of our Ed Specialists, Monty, not only for putting it together but also for making sure staff stepped up to play. In the end, our Staff was not going to let our Seniors win. However, there was a lot of complaining and limping from staff the next day. LOL Check it out.
Also, Pisapia had a lot of snacks after his Track Meet, so he set up an impromptu snack bar. He also took 3 shots during the game, and someone heckled him to go back to snacks. It was amazing!
CCTE Graduation!
Our seniors were recognized for their commitment to their CCTE Pathway courses with celebrations and received their graduation cords. It was such a wonderful night.
La Causa Graduation:
Our La Causa Community Service Group came together with our groups at Hoover High School for their Graduation. It was an amazing opportunity to have our students recognized for the insane number of hours they put in to serve their communities. I was so proud of them.
CHHS Wins BIG in Track and Field!
Congratulations to Mariah Hubbard, who got 8th place in CIF Championship in Shot Put
Congratulations also to Dainya, who placed 4th in CIF Championships with a PR of 5-2 in the high jump.

Athletics is a very complex program. It's like running a separate school altogether. While I can highlight a few things here, you must check that website daily and contact the proper coaches. This blog highlights sporting events, pictures, and celebrations, but doesn't delve into the operations of athletics. CHHS has one of the most extensive programs in the county and state.
The AW Weekly: None but Baseball is in Playoffs so come support on Tuesday at 3. Yes we know that is Graduation.
