Hello Rattler Nation, Happy Friday-
We have had a busy week of Playoffs, and we are so excited that Prom is tomorrow! We also celebrated our wonderful staff for Appreciation Week, which included donuts and coffee, lunch by our amazing Foundation, and lots of candy. We are so grateful for all of them nd how hard they have worked this year and in previous years. CHHS has the best staff! Also above is our T Town Market, which is exploding in popularity! Mark Your Calendars for May 15th!
Student Schedules:
Counselors have been busy meeting with students about their schedules for next year. As a reminder, there are no changes after this meeting. We hire staff based on students' choices. In addition, we need to make sure requirements for each grade level are also being met. Lastly, what is in PowerSchool is NOT your schedule. Please disregard that. When schedules are in PS and ready to view, I will send a callout to let you know. Thank you so much!
Playoffs:
Girls Lacrosse, Boys Lacrosse, and Swim are advancing through the playoffs with wins! Baseball and Softball are still in regular season, but are doing great!

Prom:
Prom is tomorrow from 6:30 to 9:45 at the Birch Aquarium, and we are looking forward to a night of fun in Atlantis.
Senior Awards: May 14th, 2026
Thank you to all who have registered for Senior Awards. The registration was sent to all Senior emails, went out again last week in April, and is also on the Senior Checklist. It will remain open this weekend and close on Monday morning.
BOCCE: The BIGGEST CHHS EVENT of the YEAR:
That's right, amazing community. It's fun, it's big, and it's all around a good time. Get your alumnis, and neighbors, and friends to get a 4 person team to complete...Must be 21 and up. We are so ready for this!

SPARKS Foundation:
On Sunday, I had the opportunity to be among the first to see a wonderful project created by the SPARKS Foundation. They worked to raise money to create a Holocaust Education Museum that is entirely digital and offers 100-minute lessons for high schoolers. Not only is it digital, but it is on a truck, so it can go from school to school. I was so amazed by the concept and by how technology has advanced it that I made it clear I wanted to be one of the first schools. I also happened to be there and ran into not only my boss but also friends and even our very own Board Member Shana Hazan. It was so great to be able to be there for the ribbon-cutting.

Counseling:

ALL THINGS COUNSELING:

Athletic: ALL ATHLETIC INFORMATION- chrattlers.com
Athletics is a very complex program. It's like running a separate school altogether. While I can highlight a few things here, you must check that website daily and contact the proper coaches. This blog highlights sporting events, pictures, and celebrations, but doesn't delve into the operations of athletics. CHHS has one of the most extensive programs in the county and state.
The AW Weekly: FOR TWO WEEKS! This lets you know about all the home games happening around campus, so your students can get involved, whether cheering on their friends or participating directly. Your family can also come out and support you. See above!

See you next week!
