Hello Rattler Nation-

We had a fantastic Halloween. We had more costumes than we ever had with students and staff! Water polo had its Senior Night, and the Playoffs are currently going on.

Check it out:

Playoffs:

We have a ton of Playoffs happening and coming up. Winter Sports are also starting in about 2 weeks.

We have one playoff home game this week for Volleyball. Come out and support!

Block Schedule: Parent Letter and FAQ's:

CHHS has drafted a letter to Families, and it is found here:

CCAP Parent Night: This is Mandatory (see more information in the Counseling Section). This is for parents of children taking or planning to take Community College Courses. This meeting makes it easy for you to help your child choose what is best for them when the time comes.

Saturday School is Back: If you have absences, you are required to attend the Saturday School sessions.

HOW IT WORKS: There is a link with a date (see below). The link opens on WEDNESDAY before Saturday. It begins on that day because we need to staff it appropriately. Years ago, we opened it on Mondays, and many students signed up, but they never showed up. Then the staff showed up, and we had to send them home.

If you do not maintain proper attendance, you will start losing privileges if your attendance is not recorded correctly and cleared. Sign up below to view the following dates and mark your calendar.

Additionally, we are pleased to announce a district-wide FAFSA event on Saturday, November 15, from 9 AM to 12 PM in our school's Media Center. We encourage all students and parents to attend for assistance in completing the FAFSA/CADAA application for college tuition.

Athletic: ALL ATHLETIC INFORMATION- chrattlers.com

Athletics is a very complex program. It's like running a separate school altogether. While I can highlight a few things here, you must check that website daily and contact the proper coaches. This blog highlights sporting events with pictures and celebrations, but doesn't get into the operations of athletics. CHHS has one of the most extensive programs in the county and state.

These are the slides I created for the Senior Nights of Water Polo and Cross Country.

Girls Volleyball moves on to Semi-Finals.   They play on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. here at Canyon Hills against Del Lago Academy.

The girls' Tennis Team lost yesterday in the team playoffs.   They will now wait for the individual and doubles tournaments.    I will let you know the dates, times, and place.

For Field Hockey, Water Polo, and Football, we will know about the playoffs on Saturday.   I will communicate dates, times, and places.

The AW Weekly: This lets you know about all the home games happening around campus, so your students can get involved, whether cheering on their friends or participating directly. Your family can also come out and support you.
