Our Evening Market above starts on Friday and will feature food, music, and fun! All are welcome, and come with your families and neighbors to have a great time.
Music:
CHHS Music had a wonderful and large group qualify for the SDUSD Honor Ensembles. CHHS has always had at least two qualify and this year it was 16. If you would like to see their performances and the history of our students over the years, click here:
Cheer attended the JAMZ Cheer and Dance Nationals, and our Competitive Cheer team did us proud by coming in 5th in their division, which was huge. They had a great time, and if you are interested, you can watch their performance here:

Semester 1 absences roll over in Semester 2.
HOW IT WORKS: There is a link with a date (see below). The link opens on WEDNESDAY before Saturday. It begins on that day because we need to staff it appropriately. Years ago, we opened it on Mondays, and many students signed up, but they never showed up. Then the staff showed up, and we had to send them home.

Enrollment Support for Class of 2026 Seniors
Miramar College representatives will be on campus to assist graduating seniors who plan to attend San Diego Community College District schools (Miramar, Mesa, or City College) next year. These Enrollment 101 workshops will provide hands-on support with the college application, financial aid (FAFSA or Dream Act), San Diego Promise, and academic planning. Students will also receive guidance on setting up their college portal and mapping their first semester with a counselor. These workshops are designed to ensure students are fully prepared for a smooth transition to college.

Athletics is a very complex program. It's like running a separate school altogether. While I can highlight a few things here, you must check that website daily and contact the proper coaches. This blog highlights sporting events with pictures and celebrations, but doesn't get into the operations of athletics. CHHS has one of the most extensive programs in the county and state.
The AW Weekly: This lets you know about all the home games happening around campus, so your students can get involved, whether cheering on their friends or participating directly. Your family can also come out and support you.

The idea of enjoying the small details of cafe culture gives me a reason to slow down and consider the details. The pace and atmosphere of a place can matter as much as what is in the cup. It is the kind of question I would keep in mind when thinking about Archibalds Coffee and cafe culture and coffee. I can imagine different responses depending on the situation, which makes the question more interesting. Which small details make you want to sit for a little longer?
I find finding the character of a local meeting place easier to approach when there is a familiar situation to start from. An ordinary conversation can become part of the reason people remember a place. That practical perspective helps me frame local pub culture as a theme for Abbeyinnderby. I would be interested in an example that shows how the idea works in an ordinary situation. What makes a local meeting spot feel welcoming to a first-time visitor?
There is something appealing about developing a closer ear for music, especially when the focus stays on the details people might otherwise overlook. Listening for one phrase can make a familiar piece sound different. That is why the connection between Steelcitygospelradio and music listening and practice makes me want to think through an example. I am still thinking through the practical side, because the context can change what seems useful. Which detail would you focus on before listening to the whole piece again?
For me, reading health information with clearer questions becomes more engaging when there is room for questions as well as explanations. An explanation is easier to assess when it separates what is known from what still needs investigation. I would rather explore one useful example carefully than pretend that the whole subject is already clear. What would help a reader recognise the limits of a general health statement?
I find exploring everyday food and cooking traditions easier to approach when there is a familiar situation to start from. An ingredient can carry a story about the place or family that uses it. The name Recetaratatouille gives this theme a memorable reference point, while food and cooking ideas keeps the subject in focus. It leaves me curious about the steps between understanding an idea and putting it into practice. Which part of a recipe would you ask someone to explain beyond the written measurements?
