The CalRTA Scholarship Foundation's objective is to recognize and reward outstanding

academic achievement and leadership. Awards are made to graduating seniors from

high schools in the San Diego Unified School District who intend to pursue an education

at an accredited four-year college or university.


To submit your application, you will need:

A. A copy of your high school transcript

B. Two letters of recommendation from staff members at your school

C. One letter of recommendation from a community member NOT associated with your school

To upload the required documents, you will have to use a gmail account. If you do not have an account, you may go to https://www.google.com to set one up for free.


If you prefer you may print the application and send the completed application with required documents postmarked no later than March 20, 2026, to:
